And although it was my intention to visit the weekend of Feb. 9/10 or at least the 16th/17th, either prior to Valentine's day or the anniversary of my father's death, I didn't make it. Valentine's roses for them on Sunday, March 2 - better late than never.

Saw "The Bucket List" last night. I think they would both have loved the movie. I'm going to try to get a DVD copy and put it in their niche.

Received a note from son of someone we had visited in Nebraska years ago; Dad had worked on her family's farm. I sent a Christmas card to let her know Mom had passed; Belva had passed earlier, in January 2007. I was sad to read it. She had the smallest, neatest cursive writing and I looked forward to reading Mom's Christmas cards from her.
